Privacy Policy
Your trust is the foundation of the Inner Circle. This notice explains, in plain words, which personal data we use, why, and the rights you hold under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who is responsible
The data controller is TripBond TB s.r.o. , IČO 244 14 409 , registered office Děčínská 552/1, Střížkov, 180 00 Prague 8, Czech Republic , entered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, Section C, File 440791 , owner of the OWER brand. What we collect
Sign-in details : depending on the method you choose, your name and email address (Google or email link) or your mobile number (phone), and a technical account identifier.Your membership request : your name, contact details and the journey you tell us you made with OWER, so that we can verify it against our own records. We never ask you to upload identity documents.Circle activity : the date and time of each contribution (comments, appreciations, shares and contributions verified by our team), the points awarded, your level and your annual points.Hall of Fame : the top contributors of the season are listed with their level and annual points. Visitors see the first name partly hidden (e.g. M****** T.); signed-in members see the first name and surname initial.Joining with a trip invitation : if you join by scanning your group’s QR code, we record the invitation code and the trip it belongs to, and use the trip dates to activate Live Trip Mode.Joining with an invite link : if you join by scanning a QR code or opening a link shared by OWER, we record the code and the label we gave it (for example a partner, a person or a channel), only to understand how members find us.Conversation reminders : if a message has to be hidden or your participation is paused, we keep a short note with the step taken, the reason and the date, for as long as it counts (12 months) and, for exclusions, for as long as needed to protect the Circle.Thoughts and suggestions : the text you send us, your name and member number, and, for a suggestion, whether you allow us to mention your first name. A thought stays private until our team publishes it with your first name and the initial of your surname; if it is declined, it is not published. Entries are deleted at the latest after 24 months.Videos : some stories include a YouTube video. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play; then YouTube (Google) may set cookies under its own policy.When you leave : if you delete your account you may tell us why. The reason and comment are optional and are kept without your name, only to help us improve.Share verification : the link to a public post you send us, so that we can check the tag before crediting points.Trip dates : the start and end dates of your confirmed OWER booking, used only to activate Live Trip Mode during your journey.Your comments : published on this page with your first name and the initial of your surname only.Contact form : your name, email address and the message you write on owertrip.com, so that we can reply to you.Nothing more : we do not record your IP address, location or browsing history in our activity log, and we never sell or rent your data.
Why we use it, and on what legal basis
Verifying your request and running the Inner Circle : checking your journey, showing your standing, publishing your comments, awarding points (steps at your request and performance of our agreement with you, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).Replying to your enquiry : answering your message and preparing a proposal for your journey (steps at your request before a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).Fairness and security : monthly and yearly limits, protection against misuse (our legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).Optional measurement : anonymous visit statistics, only if you accept analytical cookies (your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
How your data is handled
Member records and the activity log are kept in a private archive on Google's secure cloud, open only to our team, and they travel over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Your email address is never sent to this page. Every contribution is checked on our server before it is written, and each entry in the log carries only your member code, the action, the points and a timestamp.
Sign-in is provided by Google Firebase Authentication. When you send a request or a message through the contact form, its details are emailed to our team at info@owertrip.com so that we can verify it or reply. Google acts as our data processor under its data processing terms. Where data may be processed outside the European Economic Area, it is protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Articles written for the website
If you are an Inner Voice and you write an article, we keep and publish, together with the article, the public name you chose, the short presentation and the link you added (if any). These details are public on owertrip.com and may appear in search engines. The legal basis is your consent, given with the box you tick when you send the article; you can withdraw it at any time and ask for removal at info@owertrip.com. If you delete your account, your public name, presentation and link are erased from our records and your articles stay without your name, unless you ask us to remove them as well.
Emails we send you
We only email you about your membership: your welcome, the outcome of your requests and contributions, and, if you delete your account, a confirmation. We send no promotions. If that ever changes, we will ask you separately first, and you will be able to say no.
How long we keep it
Membership details are kept while your membership is active and for 24 months afterwards, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. You can do it yourself from your profile (“Delete my account”): you then have 20 days to change your mind, after which your profile, points and level are erased and your sign-in is removed within one month of your request. The stories and comments you shared stay in the Circle without your name, as “a member of the Circle”. Records of journeys booked with TripBond (invoices and accounting documents) are kept for the time the law requires, even if you delete your Circle account. Activity log entries, and messages sent through the contact form that do not lead to a booking, are kept for 24 months . Annual points are counted by season (January 1 to December 31; the first season is 2027) and start from zero each new season; lifetime points and your level remain on your record until you ask us to delete it. A season’s Hall of Fame is archived by our team when the season closes.
Your rights
Access a copy of your data (“Request my data” in your profile), and rectify anything inaccurate.Erase your data (“Delete my account” in your profile), or restrict its use.Portability : receive your data in a common, machine-readable format.Object to processing based on legitimate interest.Withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it, from Cookie Preferences.Complain to a supervisory authority. In the Czech Republic this is the Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ, uoou.gov.cz ); you may also contact the authority where you live or work.
You make requests by signing in with your own account (or, for other questions, by writing to us from the email address you registered with), so that we can be sure that the data is yours. We answer every request within one month. No automated decision with legal effects is ever made about you.

Third-party services
Our typography is served from our own website. To sign you in and reach your secure member records, your browser connects to Google services (Firebase Authentication for signing in, the secure service that holds our member records and, if phone sign-in is offered, reCAPTCHA to prevent abuse). These connections are technically necessary for the page to work.

Terms of Service
The Circle is a community and recognition programme offered by TripBond TB s.r.o. . It has two tiers: the Community, open to anyone after approval, and the Inner Circle, reserved for travelers who have completed at least one journey with OWER. By using this page you accept these terms.
Membership
Everyone may read and share the stories on this page. To comment, appreciate and propose your own posts, you sign in and send a request, which we review before confirming it by email. Membership is personal. Inner Circle membership is reserved for travelers who have completed at least one journey with OWER, which we verify against our records; a Community member can be moved to the Inner Circle after traveling with us. Points and levels are available to Inner Circle members only. Please keep your sign-in account secure.
Comments
Members may comment on stories. Comments are public and appear with your first name and surname initial. Please be kind and specific; we may hide comments that are off-topic or disrespectful.
Points, levels and the Hall of Fame
Points recognise contributions; they have no cash value and cannot be sold or transferred.
Lifetime points are never reset and decide your level (1 to 10). Annual points are counted by season and decide the Hall of Fame; the first season is 2027 (January 1 to December 31) and every season starts from zero. Points earned in 2026 count toward your level, but not toward the 2027 Hall of Fame. In case of equal points, the member who reached the score first is listed first.
Comments, follow-ups and appreciations earn up to 100 points per month, and up to 1,100 points can be gained per season. The complete rules are in the Circle Principles & Guidelines of the Inner Circle.
Social shares (+40 points, plus a +10 live trip boost once per day during an OWER trip), travel stories and referrals are credited after verification by our team.
Recognition
Points and levels are a form of recognition and have no cash value.
Fair use and a respectful conversation
We may remove points obtained through misuse — including AI-generated or automated content, which costs 150 points — always after letting you explain.
Disagreement is welcome; disrespect is not. If a message becomes aggressive or disrespectful, we may hide it and apply three steps: a warning; a pause of 30 days from commenting; and the end of the membership. Warnings and pauses count for 12 months. Serious cases (such as threats, hate speech or harassment) may lead to immediate exclusion. We tell you the reason for each decision by email, and you may reply once to ask a person on our team to review it.
Thoughts and suggestions
A thought you share is read by our team before it appears and is published, if at all, with your first name and the initial of your surname. You confirm that it is yours, that it is respectful and that it contains no personal data of other people. Our team may decline or edit it for length, and may decline it without giving a reason beyond a short note. You can ask us to remove it at any time at info@owertrip.com; copies already shared by others may remain. A suggestion may be used by OWER freely; we mention your name only if you allowed it. Points for thoughts and suggestions are credited only when our team publishes or uses them, they do not count towards the monthly limit and the season limit still applies.
Videos
Some stories include a video from YouTube, loaded only when you press play and subject to YouTube’s own terms.
Articles by Inner Voices
An Inner Voice is a member of the OWER community whom we have invited to write articles. The author keeps the ownership of the text. By sending an article, the author confirms that it is original, written by them from their own experience or knowledge, that it is not copied, translated from another source or produced in bulk, that it contains no personal data of other people, and that it respects the law and the rights of others. The author gives OWER a free, non-exclusive licence to publish it in the Inner Circle and on owertrip.com, as a public page that search engines can index, signed with the name the author chose, together with the short presentation and the link the author chose, and to share it on OWER’s own channels. Links inside an article carry the “nofollow” tag. Our team reads every article and may suggest changes, decline it, or remove it later, with a short reason. The views expressed are the author’s own and not necessarily those of OWER.
The author can ask us to remove an article at any time at info@owertrip.com. We remove it from the Circle and from the website within 30 days and ask search engines to drop it; copies already shared by others, or kept for a time by search engines, may remain.
Joining with a trip invitation
Travel groups may receive an invitation (a QR code) from their Tour Manager. It lets travelers of that journey join directly during the period of the trip and the day after; places are limited. Otherwise, the request form remains available and is verified by our team.
Joining with an invite link
OWER may share a QR code or a link that lets you join the Community directly, without a request. Joining this way gives access to the Community only: it does not give points, rewards or Inner Circle membership. We may stop a link at any time, and a link may have a limit on the number of people or an end date.

OWER® is a word mark registered in the European Union (EUTM No. 019365469), owned by TripBond TB s.r.o. .
Changes
We may update the program; significant changes will be announced to members in advance. Governing law and competent courts: Czech law (in particular the Civil Code, Act No. 89/2012 Coll.); the competent courts in Prague, Czech Republic . Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence always remain applicable.
